How to join ULU?

The easiest way is to come talk to us at the Fresher's Fayre in the first week of the first term. At all other times, the general procedure is as follows

First step:

Make sure you are a Student at the University of London. If you are unsure whether your University/College belongs to UL, check here. Non-Students will find further information in the volleyball in London section.

Second step:

Find out when the next training session is. If you are not sure about training dates or the level required to join the competitive teams, please write an email to the appropriate contact.

Third step:

Show up for a training session. You should come a few minutes early, as you need to be signed in by one of the club's officers - note that ONLY UL STUDENTS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE ULU GYM.

Fourth and final step:

After the session, talk to the coach. If you are trying out for one of the competitive teams, you can expect feedback on whether your level of play is sufficient to join the team - if not, you are more than welcome to train with the recreational team. Regardless of which team you train and play with, you will have to fill in a membership form and pay the annual membership fee of £25. Only after your membership form has been processed will you be able to enter the ULU gym for further sessions.
